35 weeks and 5 days!

Had our weekly OB appt this morning with bio-physical profile...NST's didn't work for us because last two times they wouldn't stay on the monitor so we have resorted to the profiles. It's just an ultrasound so we get to see them each week now, which is kinda cool. We also had our last check up yesterday with the specialist. At yesterdays appt Logan was still head down and weighed in at 5lbs 9oz with a heart rate of 143 and little Mason was now transverse or sideways above Logan at the top of my stomach weighing in at 4lbs 14oz with a heart rate of 143. Lately I have been having these..I don't know what to call them..feel like anxiety attacks where I can feel my heart palpating and then it's hard to catch my breathe..well I started to get one of those yesterday during our visit..then I could feel it like work it's way up my back to my shoulders and neck..they got all stiff and I started sweating..thank God for DeAnna our tech...I don't think I could have talked and she noticed it and had us take a break and me to sit up..if I didn't I think I probably would have passed out..crazy huh? Thanks again DeAnna...Anyways at todays appt with the bio ultrasound Logan was still head down and moving all around so he did good and passed with flying colors and then there's my little monster Mason, whom overnight decided to flip and roll around and become breech again! NO he couldn't go head down..little stinker he had to go breech..lol but he passed the test with flying colors also. Mason actually cooperated for a split second today and she was able to get the cutest pic of his face...if I could figure out this new printer/scanner i'd post them..lol Doctor checked me all out and everything is still good..no dilation or anything so we go back in one week to do it all over again!

Hanging in there

Had our 34w4d appt today with the OB and a non-stress test...so far so good...no dilation or changes and of course the boys..mainly Logan wouldn't cooperate with the test so starting next week we will be having bio-physical profiles with each visit instead of the NST's. Everything is up and ready to go for the boys..all that's left to do is put the car seats in..which we will do this weekend. So we're just kind of hanging out and keeping them baking a few more weeks if possible!

Uh-Oh

We had our 32w 5d check up at the OB's office this morning. During my cervix check they found that it is thinning out and she could feel Logan's head already down there. Not the best news. She said 32 weeks is good for twins, but one more week would be better..so let's try to get you through another one. That's just too short of my goal..I told these boys that they are not aloud out till after feb 1st so they better start listening..lol I'm going to do all I can now to keep them in..bedrest and less pressure/weight pushing them down from now on...Looks like it's going to be a long, long 4 weeks or so in bed! Hope something good comes on tv soon!

Some Pictures from Christmas and the Baby Shower

Good Day!

Had our doctor's appt. today with the specialist. At the last check up the doctor had said that they boys were a little on the small size but not today :) Logan weighed in at 4lbs 1oz and had a heart rate of 150 and Mason weighed in at 3lbs 15oz and had a heart rate of 144! Doc said everything looked good and that he was very pleased with today's visit! But the best news of all is that BOTH boys are now head down!!!! Logan always has been but stubborn Mason has been breech the whole time. Shawn was so excited that he almost couldn't contain himself. Not that I'm looking forward to pushing out two babies but I am certain that the recovery will be so much faster and easier than a c-section. We go back to him in 3 weeks for our final check before birth and the doc is hoping that they are at least 5lbs by then, so we are keeping our fingers crossed.
I also seen one of the coolest things ever today..during the ultrasound we saw Mason practicing breathing...It was the most amazing thing. You could see his little chest rising and falling and his heart just beating away...It almost made me cry. We have our regular OB appt tomorrow morning so hopefully we can get out of the driveway with all this snow we are supposed to get!
